A permanent HRTC? Sudbury builders say ‘Yes!'

Local home builder and industry president calls the HRTC ‘sound policy'

Making the Home Renovation Tax Credit permanent, as promised by the Conservative government if re-elected has gone down well with builders in Sudbury Ontario. Louis Zagordo, local home builder and president of the Sudbury and District Home Builders' Association, claims that over a $1/4 billion in home renovations and repairs were spent in his area last year alone.
